While many Bollywood stars shield their children from the constant glare of the media, Riteish Deshmukh and his wife, Genelia Deshmukh, have adopted a different approach. They allow their sons, Riaan and Rahyl, to interact with the paparazzi, teaching them valuable life lessons along the way.
The Deshmukh family: Embracing the media spotlight.
Riteish Deshmukh recently discussed his views on paparazzi culture and how he guides his children to navigate it. He explained that his sons are active and frequently photographed by the paparazzi during their outings and sports activities.
Deshmukh emphasizes the importance of teaching his children how to handle media attention without developing a sense of entitlement. He believes that interacting with the paparazzi provides an opportunity to instill humility in them.
Deshmukh shared his simple yet powerful message to his sons: "The only thing I tell my sons is, ‘Getting clicked is an honour. When the paps ask for pictures, you thank them for clicking and move on.’” This approach encourages his children to be appreciative and respectful towards the media.
He also acknowledged that every family has the right to choose what's best for their children, stating, “Just because one person does something doesn’t mean others have to do the same. I think parents know what’s best for their children. If people feel they don’t want their kids to be in the media, it should be respected."
On the professional front, Riteish Deshmukh was last seen in Housefull 5, directed by Tarun Mansukhani, alongside a stellar cast including Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Panday, Shreyas Talpade, and Johny Lever.
