The 14-year-old opener's fearless approach was the highlight of India's successful run chase, as he launched five towering sixes and three boundaries to set an aggressive tone.

India U19 were chasing a target of 175 when Suryavanshi partnered with captain Ayush Mhatre to provide a blistering start. The duo added 71 runs in a mere 7.3 overs, leaving the English bowlers reeling. Suryavanshi's innings was cut short just two runs shy of a well-deserved half-century when he was caught by Tazeem Chaudry Ali off Ralphie Albert in the eighth over. Mhatre soon followed, falling for 21 off 30 balls.

Despite the setbacks, the target proved to be manageable for the Indian team. India U19 secured a comfortable six-wicket victory with a significant 156 balls to spare. Wicketkeeper-batter Abhigyan Kundu sealed the win with a six in the 24th over, remaining unbeaten on 45 off 34 balls.

Earlier, England U19 had elected to bat first but were bowled out for 174 in 42.2 overs. Rocky Flintoff, son of former England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff, was the top scorer for the home side, crafting a composed 56 off 90 deliveries, including three sixes and three fours.

The Indian bowlers put on a dominant performance, with Kanishk Chouhan leading the attack. He claimed 3 wickets for 20 runs in his allotted 10 overs. Mohamed Enaan (2/37), RS Ambrish (2/24), and Henil Patel (2/41) all contributed with two wickets each, dismantling the England batting lineup.

Suryavanshi, prior to the tour, expressed his enthusiasm to iplt20.com, stating, “I will get a good experience of playing in England. We will try to win a trophy from there as well.”

Considering his explosive debut, Vaibhav Suryavanshi's performance hints at a promising future, potentially marking the emergence of another star in Indian cricket.
